Photography services

Six ways to work with me.

Each service is built around a specific chapter of life — from wedding day coverage to maternity milestones. Every session includes a private online gallery, personal print release, and my warm, patient direction so you never feel like you're performing.

My approach across every service

Whether I'm shooting a coastal wedding, a maternity session in your backyard, or a grad portrait at UCSD, my process is the same: I show up early, I scout the light, and I direct you gently so you always know what to do with your hands. Then I step back and let the real moments happen. My editing style is warm, film-inspired, and consistent — the gallery you get in three weeks looks like the sample gallery you saw before booking.

Problems I solve for every client

  • • You feel awkward on camera — I direct gently the whole time.
  • • You don't know where to shoot — I suggest locations tuned to your vibe.
  • • Your kids won't sit still — good, I don't want them to.
  • • You've been burned by slow turnaround — sneak peeks in 72 hours, always.
  • • You're worried about weather — every plan has a backup location baked in.

Why San Diego couples and families choose me

I've spent the last eight-plus years photographing San Diego — every coastal cliff, family park, chapel, and backyard I could get to. I know the light schedules by season, I know which beaches require permits, and I know how to keep a two-year-old happy for a 60-minute session. When you hire me you get local expertise, a real person who answers her own phone, and a gallery you'll still love in ten years.

My promise

  • • 24-hour reply to every inquiry, personally from me.
  • • Sneak peeks within 72 hours of every session.
  • • Full portrait galleries in 2–3 weeks. Weddings in 4–6.
  • • Fully insured, backed-up cards, redundant gear.
  • • Zero travel fees across San Diego County.

Benefits of booking with me

Every service I offer is booked directly with me, edited by me, and delivered by me. That means one point of contact from your first inquiry through your final gallery — no rotating associates, no assistant photographers you meet on shoot day, no template email chains. You get personal attention, consistent style across every service (my wedding gallery looks like my family gallery looks like my grad gallery), and a photographer who knows your name, your kids' names, and the story you're trying to tell.

Practical benefits stack on top: a fully insured business (venue certificates issued on request at no cost), redundant gear at every session (two bodies, dual card slots, backup lenses), sneak peeks within 72 hours so you have something to share while the full gallery is being edited, and a fine-art print shop built into your gallery so your favorites end up on the wall — not stuck on a hard drive.

My process, from inquiry to gallery

  1. 1. Inquire. Send a note through the site or call 760-539-9932. I reply within 24 hours (usually the same day) with pricing, availability, and any location suggestions.
  2. 2. Consult. We hop on a quick call or trade emails to nail down date, location, timing, wardrobe direction, and any special moments you want captured.
  3. 3. Book. A 25% retainer holds your date. Balance is due 30 days before the session or wedding.
  4. 4. Prep. I send a full prep guide — outfit palettes, kid-wrangling tips, weather backups, arrival timing tuned to the golden-hour window at your location.
  5. 5. Session. Warm, patient, unhurried. I direct gently and catch the real moments in between.
  6. 6. Sneak peek. A handful of edited favorites in your inbox within 72 hours.
  7. 7. Delivery. Full gallery in 2–6 weeks depending on session type, delivered through a private online gallery with print release, download, and heirloom-album ordering built in.

Experience, ethics, and the E-E-A-T you're paying for

Photography is an unregulated industry — anyone with a camera can call themselves a wedding photographer. I take the craft seriously. I've delivered 360+ galleries across every service I offer, I follow the ethics guidelines published by the Professional Photographers of America, and I stay current on wedding-day best practices through WPJA documentary training. My business is registered in California, fully insured for liability and equipment, and structured around long-term client relationships — most of my families come back for a second, third, or fourth session as their kids grow.

What that means for you: consistent quality across every service, a paper trail if anything ever goes sideways, and the confidence that the photographer showing up on your day is the same photographer whose work you fell in love with on Instagram.

Photography services — FAQs

Which service is right for me?

If you're getting married, start with Wedding Photography. If you're newly engaged, Engagement Photography. For growing families, Family or Maternity. For high school and college milestones, Graduation. And for birthdays, quinceañeras, and private events, Special Events. Not sure? Reach out — I'll help you pick.

Do I have to book a full wedding to hire you?

Not at all. I book plenty of portrait-only clients. Engagement, family, maternity, and grad sessions are all 45–90 minutes and don't require any wedding coverage.

Do you offer packages that combine services?

Yes — many of my wedding couples add on engagement sessions, and family clients often combine maternity plus newborn or first-birthday sessions. I bundle these at a discount when we plan them up front.

How much do sessions cost?

Portrait sessions start around $300–$500 depending on length and location. Weddings are custom-quoted based on hours of coverage. Call 760-539-9932 or fill out the inquiry form for a specific quote.

What's the difference between a session fee and a wedding collection?

Session fees cover shorter portrait shoots (45–120 minutes) with a set gallery size. Wedding collections cover full-day event coverage with a scaled gallery, sneak peeks, and longer post-production.

Can I see full galleries before I book?

Absolutely. I send full sample galleries by service type on request — just mention which service you're considering when you inquire.
