Events are photographed documentary-style — I move quietly, catch the toasts and tears, and photograph the details you spent months planning. I coordinate with your planner or venue in advance so I know the timeline, key moments, and any must-shoot family groupings.
Common problems I solve
You want candid coverage without a photographer 'in the way'
Documentary is my default style. I shoot with quiet primes, move around the room's edges, and disappear into the event.
Your venue has terrible lighting
I bring off-camera flash and know how to bounce and diffuse for warm, natural-looking indoor frames. Never harsh direct flash.
You want to share the gallery with guests
All event galleries are shareable and downloadable — guests can access via a single link you send out after delivery.
You need coverage of specific moments
Send me the timeline and 'must-shoot' list in advance. I check every item off during the event and confirm in a follow-up email.

My process, start to finish
- 1. Inquiry & consult. Send a note or call 760-539-9932. I'll reply within 24 hours to talk timeline, location, and vision — no hard sell, just a real conversation about what you're picturing.
- 2. Book & plan. A 25% retainer holds your date. I send a full prep guide covering wardrobe palettes, kid-wrangling tricks, timeline math for weddings, and exactly when to arrive for the best golden-hour light at your chosen location.
- 3. Session day. Warm, patient, unhurried. I direct the whole time so you always know what to do — and still catch every real moment in between. For weddings I coordinate quietly with your planner, DJ, and family so the day flows.
- 4. Sneak peek & delivery. Sneak peeks in 72 hours. Full gallery in 2–6 weeks depending on the session type, delivered through a private online gallery you'll have forever. You can share, download, and print directly from the gallery.
- 5. Prints, albums, and beyond. After delivery I'm still here — I design heirloom albums, help you pick wall art sizes, and store your full-resolution gallery so you can order more prints years later.

Pricing & timeline
Event coverage starts at $500 for two hours, with add-on hours priced at a lower per-hour rate. Longer full-day events (weddings, quinceañeras, milestone birthdays) are custom-quoted. I bring backup gear and off-camera flash for indoor and evening receptions at no additional charge.

How many hours of coverage should I book?
For most events, 3–4 hours covers arrivals, key moments, and toasts. Full-day events like quinceañeras and milestone birthdays run 6–8 hours.
Do you photograph corporate events?
Yes — headshots, keynotes, mingling, and branded environment shots. Ask at booking and I'll tailor a package.
Can you deliver a same-day highlight reel?
Yes — for an add-on fee I can deliver 10–20 sneak-peek images within a few hours for social sharing during the event.
What's included in an event gallery?
80–200+ edited images depending on coverage length, delivered in 2 weeks through a private online gallery with shareable link.
Do you cover multi-day events?
Yes — quinceañera weekends, milestone weekend celebrations, and multi-day corporate conferences are all quoted per-day.
How far in advance should I book?
I book weddings 6–12 months ahead and portrait sessions 4–8 weeks out. Rush dates are sometimes possible — call me at 760-539-9932 and I'll check my calendar.
Do you travel across San Diego County?
Yes — every session includes free travel to all 26 cities in San Diego County, from Oceanside and Escondido down to Imperial Beach. I never charge mileage inside the county.
